112 School year the operation method of Master & PHD dorm1st waiting list of allocation accommodation for empty beds registration

A. Master & PHD dorm the duration of dorm, dorm slip and the student loan

  (A)112 school year the duration of dorm

    a. 1st semester: Sep. 2nd 2023 to Jan. 13th 2024 before noon.

    b. winter dorm: Jan. 15th 2024 noon to Feb. 15th 2024 noon, total 32 days.

    c. 2nd semester: 3 p.m. Feb. 17th 2024 to June 22nd 2024 before noon.

    d. summer dorm: start from 3 p.m. June 24th 2024

  (B)the dorm fee of winter dorm & 2nd semester dorm (plus deposit NT$1000)

    a. winter dorm fee: (do not provide short stay, calculated depends on full days)

      (a)East dorm: NT$80 per day, total NT$2560.

      (b)Nangang dorm: NT$75 per day, total NT$2400.

      (c)Xinbei dorm: NT$65 per day, total NT$2080.

    b. 2nd semester dorm fee

      (a)East dorm: NT$9900.

      (b)Nangang dorm: NT$9000.

      (c)Xinbei dorm: NT$7850

  (C) student loan: only Taiwan nationality could apply the loan.

B. In order to distribute accommodations, this form is open for those who meet the requirements.

C. The number of this time in each dorm opening beds are:

 (A)East dorm

    Male:10

    Female:5

 (B)Nangang dorm(Female only):1

 (C)Xinbei dorm(Male only):14

D. Qualification & Data review

 (A) Qualification review

    a. Each person could only select one dorm to register, fill in repeatedly will be regarded as disqualified and cancelled.

    b. those who can’t register as below,

     (a)according to Regulation for Management of Student Dormitory Article 3.

     (b)those who has already joined 112 school year freshman draw and got the space.

     (c)fresh international student

    c. the current male student could only apply and allocate to Xinbei dorm, and the current female student could only apply and allocate to Nangang dorm.

 (B) Data review: those who has these situations will be cancelled the application and the rights afterwards,

    a. failure of submitting the relevant document

    b. information is incompletely or illegible handwriting

E. This waiting list will constitute under these priorities as below:

 (A) Only those whose household registration is located outside the areas "listed in Article 4 of the Student Dormitory Regulations" can participate in this allocation.

 (B) Students with the final status will be given priority, and the certification must be upload to google cloud drive before the deadline (how to upload, please check the steps as attachment1).

The order is low-income families, students with disabilities, and low- and middle-income families. Overdue supporting documents will be regarded as a general student registration.

 (C) New graduate students and postgraduate students are given priority over old students.

 (D) Doctoral students have priority over master students. (Example: Doctoral students have priority over master students, but master students have priority over old doctoral students)

 (E) Those who both apply winter dorm & 2nd semester dorm has priority over just apply one.

 (F)After the bed allocation is obtained by priority student, when the numbers of next order are more than the empty beds, the draw will be held to arrange the accommodation.

Example: I have 30 beds. If there are 5 low-income households, 7 disabled students, 8 low- and middle-income households, and 20 ordinary students, there is no such problem in the order of ordinary students, and beds will be allocated directly. 20 people draw 10 places (30-5-7-8=10)

F. The schedule and the register procedure

 (A) the schedule

    a. the period of filling in the google form: Oct. 30th 9am~ Nov. 12th 5pm

    b. the period of emailing the document: Oct. 30th 9am~ Nov. 12th 5pm

    c. the time of reviewing: Nov. 13th ~ Nov. 20th

    d. the time of the announcement: around Nov. 21st (if the operation procedure smooth will be announced in advance)

    e. the period of paying the slip: around Nov. 21st ~Nov. 26th

      anyone who being announced to get the space, delay paying the slip will be regarded as giving up the space and canceling the application afterwards.

 (B) the register procedure

    a. please log in google form (https://forms.gle/vdkfqfnFPAfbAJ528) and fill in status.

    b. download, fill in the application form (attachment2), confirm post office account(priority), and signature.

    c. please prepare those documents as below,

     (a) application form with signature.

     (b) Alien Resident Certificate front/ back side or the exit & entry permit Taiwan Republic of China

     (c) post office account (priority)or bank account copy (A4 size, no need to clip, for returning the deposit)

    ※If write both post office account and the bank account, it’s going to take the front side of post office account or the front side picture provided as the refunding deposit account.

    d. the procedure to email those documents as above

       scan to PDF file (clear and identifiable) and e-mail to manager: complete the application by receiving the reply from the manager. (If didn’t receive the reply, please call during working hours)

    e. the deadline of e-mailing the documents: before Nov. 12th 5pm (standard time is based on emailing time)

If delay sending relevant documents as above, will be regarded as disqualified and be cancelled.

  (C) The dorm slip should be finished paying before deadline after the announcement, delay paying the slip will be regarded as giving up the space and canceling the application afterwards.

G. Notice

 (A) The arrangement of dorm space, school reserves the right of final decision.

 (B) The dorm beds are limited, if finish paying the slip, we are not consent any reasons to apply refund except Article 7 of the Student Dormitory Regulations

 (C) The accommodation list will be announced on OSA website or will be noticed particularly, please bring the receipt and identity to check in.

 (D) For safety concern, only resident can enter the dorm.

 (F) When you check-in, if you have any question, please feel free to contact as below,

East dorm: please first contact each region leader, whose information you could ask dorm administrator.

Nangang dorm: please first contact dorm administrator
