D. Bed Assignment Adjustments for International Students During Summer Break

(A) Female international Students: Since the number of female international students applying for the Nangang Dormitory has exceeded its capacity, the following adjustments have been made to ensure fairness while accommodating specific academic requirements:

a. Priority Retention for Specific Groups: As Dual Degree students (those studying on campus for only one AY) represent a very small number and have unique academic schedules, their original beds will be prioritized for retention to avoid the inconvenience of frequent relocation.

b. Public Lottery System: After excluding the priority group mentioned above, if the number of applicants still exceeds capacity, the remaining candidates will enter a public lottery to determine who may remain in the "East Dormitory." (The lottery schedule will be announced separately.)

c. Arrangements for Non-Selected Students: Students who are not selected in the lottery must locate to the Nangang Dormitory as per the original regulations.

(B) Male International Students: As there is an adequate supply of beds for male students, the original arrangements remain unchanged. No lottery is required.

(C) Should there be any updates regarding bed assignments, we will notify all residents as soon as possible, in accordance with the principle of transparency.
