I. General Information

(I) Dormitory Locations & Room Types

A. Three dormitories are available for Graduate & Doctoral students. All rooms are four-person rooms.

B. Dormitory Locations

(A) East Dorm (On-campus)

(B) Nangang Dorm (Off-campus, female-only)

(C) Xinbei Dorm (Off-campus, male-only)

(D) Yuantong Dorm (Off-campus)

(II) Dormitory Duration: Summer Break: June 29th 2026 3 PM - ○○2026 before noon.

* Dates are subject to the university's academic calendar.

(III) Summer Break Dorm Fees: Short-term stays are not available. Fees are calculated based on full days.) → Dormitory payment must be completed before check-in.

A. East Dorm: NT$80/day.

B. Nangang Dorm: NT$75/day.

C. Xinbei Dorm: NT$65/day.

D. Yuantong Dorm: NT$140/day.

** The security deposit refund process for AY 2025 is scheduled to commence two weeks after the end of the summer session. Please note that the bank transfer may take approximately 45 working days to complete.

(IV) Student Loan: Only students with Taiwanese nationality are eligible to apply for a student loan.

(V) Dormitory Assignment

A. Early admission domestic students: Assigned to off-campus dorms starting from the fall semester. Those continuing dormitory stay must complete the transfer before noon on the last day of summer break.

B. All international students: Assigned to off-campus dorms starting from the summer break. Those continuing dormitory stay must complete the transfer before noon on the last day of spring semester dorm closed.

C. Special identity residents, student leaders, and guaranteed residents: Assigned to East Dorm.

D. Important: Due to limited dormitory capacity, submission of an application does not guarantee a bed assignment.

II. Application Eligibility & Review Process

(I) Personal Information Protection

Collected personal information follows national regulations and NTUT’s data management policies. It will be used only for dormitory-related matters. Personal Information Protection Area

A. Please provide the necessary info in your ARC card/ Exit & Entry Permit Taiwan Republic of China, please upload the pic of your ARC/ Exit & Entry Permit Taiwan Republic of China to be reviewed after registration. (If the info is filled out incorrectly or does not match during verification, it will affect the eligibility for the application.)

B. The dorm application includes a affidavit Letter, ARC/ Exit & Entry Permit Taiwan Republic of China, the pic of the passbook savings (preferred)/bank account.

C. Description of the Purposes for Collecting Personal Data

    1. Affidavit Letter: to declare that I would abide by NTUT Regulation for Management of Student Dormitory, Deposit Rules of the Accommodation Fee and Taiwan Academic Internet Use Regulation etc...

     2. ARC: to verify dormitory application eligibility.

            3. The pic of the passbook savings (preferred)/bank account: to refund the deposit.

(II) Eligibility Criteria

Summer Break Dorm: Available to international students within the first two years of residency (including those who have withdrawn or taken a leave of absence).

(III) Application Information Review

Once submitted, application details cannot be modified. Incorrect information may lead to automatic cancellation without prior notice.

Description  Master Students: Year 2 to Year 4；Doctoral Students: Year 2 to Year 7 ‚ Receipt Submission (excluding pending payments), verification is required. 1. Submission Method: Email your dorm receipt or the screenshot of transaction details successfully (write-off number should be on it). 2. Requirement: you need to email the receipt only when you finished the payment and the Taiwan Bank didn’t clear the account upon May 8th. 3. Email Address for Submission:scorpio_nov@ntut.edu.tw 4. Only when the dorm manager reply can ensure your right to accommodation.

(III) Application Process

A. Log in to the online form (https://forms.gle/BE6jxUWfE7bBe1J26)and fill in the required details.

B. Application Steps:

(A) Incorrect information may result in disqualification without notice.

(B) Wait for review and approval.

(C) Complete dormitory fee payment within the deadline.

(IV) Principles for Summer Housing Application Priority: Handled in accordance with Article 2 of the Dormitory Management Regulations.

**Once priority applicants have been assigned spots, if the number of remaining applicants exceeds the number of available beds, a random drawing (lottery) will be conducted after the registration period ends to determine bed assignments and the waiting list order. **

IV. Dormitory Payment & Receipt Submission

(I)  Payment Instructions

A. If assigned a dormitory space, payment must be completed before the deadline stated in the announcement.

B. Late payments will be considered as forfeited, and the application will be canceled afterwards.

C. Detailed payment steps are attached.

(II) Receipt Submission

A. Submission Method: Email.

B. Requirement: you need to email the receipt only when you finished the payment and the Taiwan Bank didn’t clear the account upon May. 12^th.

Only when the dorm manager reply can ensure your right to accommodation.

D. Documents Required: Receipt or transaction screenshot (with the write-off number visible)

**Failure to complete payment by the deadline will be considered as forfeiting the dormitory space, and future applications will be canceled.

V. NTUT Dormitory Regulations

(I) Regulation for Management of Student Dorm

(II) Important Provisions:

A. Article 6: Dormitory spaces are limited, and NTUT reserves the final decision. Room or dorm changes are subject to approval.

B. Article 7: Residents cannot withdraw from the dormitory unless under special circumstances (leave of absence, withdrawal, transfer, etc.).

V. NTUT Dormitory Regulations

A. Article 6: Dormitory spaces are limited, and NTUT reserves the final decision. Room or dorm changes are subject to approval.

B. Article 7: Residents cannot withdraw from the dormitory unless under special circumstances (leave of absence, withdrawal, transfer, etc.).

VI. Notice

(I)  The arrangement of dorm space, school reserves the right of final decision.

The dorm beds are limited, if finish paying the slip, we are not consent any reasons to apply refund except Article 7 of the Student Dormitory Regulations.

(II)  The accommodation list will be announced on OSA website, please bring the receipt and identity to check in after dorm opens.

(III) For safety concern, only resident can enter the dorm.
